Due to our continued efforts to improve the health of the bengal cat, we decided
to alter Madi due to a kitten of hers being equivical and that her sires 2 littermated
where positive for hcm. Currently Madi resides here with us still. we will
continue to screen her as her status for hcm is still negative as of 2009. |
Bicara was spayed in 2009. She has had several litters for us and we have held back
two of her kittens, so we felt it was time for her to be a spoiled pet..... |
Mkali was spayed in 2008 as we have had several litters from her and have held back
a few kittens to continue on her line. She is now living with a co worker of
mine as a spayed pet. We will continue to screen Mkali even though she is retire,d
in a continued effort to improve the bengal cat and it's health. |
Kioja was my first born here at Cozy Country. She is very special to me. Though we
had plans for her to be a big part of our program, Kioja was not happy being
a breeding cat so she was spayed shortly after her one year birthday. She resides
here with us as a loving and spoiled pet, the queen of the castle. She was the
start of my dream with the silver bengal and helps keep the bengal babies in
check. |
Kai was part of my first litter and a full littermate to Kioja below. Kai had one
litter for us, but we found it hard to put weight back on her tiny frame after
the kittens. We felt for her that being a spayed pet would be much better and
she was altered after her litter was weaned. She now lives with a loving family
as a spoiled pet!! |

Lyric is a sweet girl. She had one litter for us, but unfortunately she gave us a
kitten with a floating rib issue. Due to this we decided to alter her. She now
lives as a spoiled pet with ehr new family. |
Due to Lamia's positive HCM status she was altered in 2009. she now lives as a spoiled
pet with her new owner.Thank you Stephen for taking such good care of Lamia. |
Dede had her first and only litter in 2009. She had 8 kittens we lost all but 2 over
a few weeks time, cause unknown. Also due to complications with her labor Dede
had to be spayed the night she delivered due to a prolapsed uterus. She now
resides in her new home with her loving family. |
Zarina was spayed in 2009 due to her HCM positive status and now resides as a loving
pet in her new home. |
Zuri was spayed in 2009 after finding she was equivical on her hcm screen. She is
looking for her forever home. |

Maya was going to be part of my silver program, but due to her mother being a hcm
positive cat, and her father testing equivical with the possibility of heart disease
down the road we choose to alter Maya. Prior to placing her in her new home
we had her screened and she did have a normal echocardiogram with good numbers.

Lana is the best brown spotted kitten I have produced here to date. She did well
as a kitten in the show ring. But, Lana became a bit reserved and shy around 6
months old and some of our more dominant girls started to pick on her which caused
her to become even more shy. Due to her timid personality and that her mom
was hcm positive we decided to alter Lana. She was screened and tested normal on
her first screen, she was never bred. Lana is now in her new forevr home with
our othr girl Zuri. |

Martini resided with our friend Michele of Nahanni Bengals. Prior to breeding Martini,
she was screened for heart disease and unfortunately was found to have hcm.
She has been altered and is in her new pet home. Martini was never bred and
we work close with Michele to ensure the health of our cats. Though Martini is
negative due to responsible breeding, she has no offspring that could have been
effected. Thank you to Michele for being a responsible breeder! Though her parents are still screening normal we are working to find where the hcm came from...... |

Vegas is an exceptional cat. Unfortunately is took us two years to get her pregnant
and due to her infertility issue we decided to spay her. We where very sad about

Indy is such a special cat to me. Born and raised here, she has been one of the best
cats I have ever had. She has the most outgoing personality, and is almost

our other girl Vegas which makes this easier for me to know she will have a

Mena is a sweet,and loving bengal cat. She has been a joy to have here and we cannot
thank our friend Marie for allowing us to have her. Unfortunately Mena licks
her fur off when she is in heat. Because the health and well being of our cats
comes first we have decided to spay Mena as this will stop the hormonal licking.
We hope to find Mena the perfect home soon. We will miss her dearly. |
